A great character, a very vocal girl, she loves to hold a conversation with us, particularly when there is food involved.  She lets us know in no uncertain terms what she wants and talks to us with those beautiful brown eyes.

Binti at 18 months of age

 

This is our gorgeous, sweet Binti, she is a delight to live with, full of character and personality.

Showing has never been her favourite activity, but she attained her title with ease at 18 months, together with her brother Kushinda, they would often take it in turns to win Best of Breed and in Group/Show awards.

 

Her most memorable win was at the RRCV National Championship Show in 1996, breed specialist Judge Mrs Liz Megginson (Sth Africa) when she won Best Headed Bitch and Minor Puppy in Show which was won from a huge class (Minor Puppy Bitch class 16) (breed entry of 232).  All her litter sisters were placed behind her, and caused quite a stir in the crowd as the judge ‘typed’ up the class by unknowingly placing all four sisters.  She was also pulled out for best gait (along with her mum).  Binti and her sisters then stood behind dad, Diesel, for him to win Sire and Progeny.

 

 

 She has always loved lure coursing, and would chase the lure until she drops if we let her.

Binti takes puppies under her wing, she is a great mentor for them to look up to.   Here she is at 11 years old with Chloe (4 ½ months).

 These days she loves her bed, particularly when the wood heater is on, but still has her moments of madness when she forgets her age and races around the paddock like a two year old.
